Abnormal Load Services (ALS) has arranged the door-to-door delivery of an oversized mining machine from Europe to Guinea.  

ALS moves mining machine to Guinea

ALS’ sea freight team was responsible for coordinating the road transport of the machine to the European port; port handling in Europe; and shipment to Africa.  

The main body of the machine measured 3.4 m tall, 12.8 m long, 3.8 m wide and weighed in at 64 tonnes. Other components included a 12 m-long conveyor, a conveyor suspension measuring 3.4 m high and weighing 22 tonnes, and 10 pallets containing spare parts and accessories.
