North American project freight forwarder Ambercor Shipping and Turkish logistics firm Origin FGL Lojistik have teamed up to transport three tanks from Türkiye to the USA.

Ambercor Shipping and Origin FGL Lojistik transported two 90-ton (81.6-tonne) tanks as well as a 48-ton (43.5-tonne) tank. The two heavier items measured 40 m x 3 m x 4.3 m apiece, with the lighter item measuring 20 m x 4.2 m x 4.3.
The tanks were moved by specialised trailers from the factory in Bandırma to Gemlik port – both in Türkiye – before being transported by chartered heavy lift vessel to New Orleans for transit onto river barges, with the final destination being New York State.
Both companies are members of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC),
HLPFI reported in March that Ambercor and Origin FGL Lojistik managed the shipment of two rotors from Türkiye to the USA. Last month, Ambercor delivered a mill shell from China to the USA.
