Kaleido Logistics and Cosmatos Shipping Services, members of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), have collaborated on the delivery of wind energy components from Spain to Greece.

The project involved the transport of a main shaft, measuring 3.17 m x 3.8 m x 3.1 m and weighing 37 tonnes.
The cargo was loaded in Soria, Spain, and transported by road directly to the wind farm site located in the Viotia region of Greece.
Cosmatos Shipping Services is WWPC’s representative in Greece, while Kaleido Logistics is a member for Spain and Portugal.

Kaleido Logistics also recently completed a large-scale wind energy project, for which it coordinated the delivery of 159 wind turbine blades from Tuticorin, India, to Aransas, USA.
The project involved two shipments: one vessel carried 78 blades while the other transported 81 blades, with all units used to upgrade an existing wind farm.
