Bolloré Logistics has delivered six wind turbine blades for a project in Quebec.
Teams in Denmark and Canada worked together to coordinate the door-to-door transport of the blades. Each weighed 8 tons (7.3 tonnes) and measured 40 m long.
They were loaded onto the general cargo vessel CLI Pride and unloaded at the port of Grande-Anse, Quebec directly onto telescopic trailers.
Special permits and police escorts were required for the delivery to wind farm site.
