BBC Chartering’s LakerMax vessel BBC Singapore has completed its maiden voyage with the delivery of modules from China to the Netherlands.
Carrying out the delivery on behalf of Rhenus Project Logistics Switzerland, BBC Singapore transported the modules from Yanda, near Dongzao port in China, to Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Weighing almost 2,000 tonnes, the shipment contained 43 units which totalled over 30,000 cu m.
The LakerMax vessel stopped off for a port call in Southampton, UK, before going on to Rotterdam.
Rhenus Project Logistics’ teams in both Switzerland and Bremen, Germany, worked alongside BBC Chartering, as well as ship management firm ECKSHIP, based in Eckernförde, Germany.
Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that BBC Tornio is set to join the BBC Chartering fleet.
