Dan-Czech Specialtransport has handled the delivery of 60 oversized and heavy components, weighing approximately 4,500 tonnes in total, for the Jaguar Land Rover factory under construction in Nitra, Slovakia.

The components, which will form 12 stamping press lines at the factory, arrived at the port of Bratislava, Slovakia by barge. The equipment was transported from the Spanish port of Bilbao via the port of Rotterdam.

Upon arrival in Bratislava and with limited amount of space at the port, Dan-Czech handled the offloading operation of the components.

The majority of loads weighed over 100 tonnes and were transported using Goldhofer THP hydraulic axle lines in various configurations, powered by MAN and Mercedes-Benz heavy-duty prime movers.
