Rhenus Project Logistics has transported six rectifiers from Japan to a construction site in Bahrain.
The shipment had a total volume of approximately 15,000 freight tons. The heaviest components weighed 255 tons (231.3 tonnes).
The units were loaded on a heavy lift vessel for transport to Bahrain where the cargoes were reloaded onto a barge and moved from the harbour to a jetty closer to the construction site.
For the last mile delivery, the oversized cargoes were transported using SPMTs.
