Kaleido Logistics has delivered two catamarans from Spain to Portugal.
The vessels were loaded onboard BigLift Shipping’s heavy lift vessel Happy River in the port of Avilés in the north of Spain and discharged in Lisbon, Portugal.
Kaleido was responsible for coordinating the whole shipment, including the handling operations at both the port of loading and discharge, as well as the seafreight, Customs procedures and engineering support.
Close cooperation between the client, carrier and Kaleido’s engineering department ensured the safe execution of the project, with the proper lifting, lashing and stowage plans.
Kaleido is a member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Spain and Portugal.
