Portugal’s Laso Transportes has completed the transport of components for the Aldeavieja wind farm, which is under construction near Ávila, Spain.

The project got underway on May 5, 2025 for Laso. Its scope involved transporting four wind towers, with components shipped from three different locations. Meticulous planning was therefore key.

Given the steep gradient of the access road to the installation site, the convoy for transport of the heaviest and largest components had to be supported hy two extra traction vehicles.

Approximately 60 people – including drivers, project managers, quality and safety technicians, and dedicated engineers – were involved in the project.

Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that Laso had added two Spanish branches to its network.
