China-based forwarder Protranser has carried out two separate deliveries to the Americas, delivering 25 carbon dioxide storage tanks from China to Brazil along with a cryogenic ethylene storage tank from China to the USA.
Protranser delivered tanks, air coolers and parts for a liquefied carbon dioxide project in Brazil from Changshu, China. The 25 pieces within the delivery totalled 360 tonnes or 2,400 cu m. The heaviest unit was 76.4 tonnes and measured 22.29 m x 4.81 m x 4.5 m, with Protranser’s scope of work including port service and Customs declaration.
Protranser was also on hand to deliver a cryogenic ethylene storage tank from Taicang, China to Houston, USA. The tank measured 18.99 m x 3.93 m x 4.14 m and weighed 46.8 tonnes. The company was responsible for port service at Taicang port, Customs declaration service, and the chartering of the breakbulk vessel for the transport.
HLPFI reported earlier this month that Protranser had completed a loading survey for eight sets of wind turbine blades set to be delivered from China to Germany.
