Stevens Towing has delivered ship components from the UK, Germany and Norway to a shipyard on the US West Coast using its vessel Coastal Venture.
The components – including generators, propeller shafts and propulsion motors – were loaded in Ipswich, Bremerhaven and Bergen.
The equipment will used in the construction of a newbuild US Navy vessel and required to be transported on a US-flagged vessel.
