Total Movements has handled the end-to-end logistics of two transformers plus their accessories from India to the USA for the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power.
The transformers weighed 150 tons (136.1 tonnes) each. Total Movements was responsible for the local transport in India; Customs clearances; coordinating the ocean transport to the USA; Customs clearances in the USA; and the final transport to the project site.
While the shipment was fraught with challenges – including heavy rains and covid-induced disruptions – the consignment was delivered safely and on time.
Total Movements is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India.
