India-based project logistics and freight forwarding firm Total Movements has delivered project cargo equipment from load ports in Belgium and Spain to a power plant in Indonesia.
Providing a port-to-door service, Total Movements shipped around 2,600 cu m of cargo which was made up of five engines and five alternators.
“Our scope of work included ocean transportation from Europe, efficient handling and unloading at the Indonesian discharge port, onward road transportation of the entire consignment, and final installation at the foundation,” said a Total Movements spokesperson.
Total Movements is a member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India. Last month, the company delivered kiln shells from India to a steel plant in the Middle East Gulf.
