Mexico-based heavy transport specialist Tradelossa has transported 2,000 tons (1,814 tonnes) of equipment for a relocation project of an automotive electric battery manufacturing plant in Mexico.

It transported the equipment 2 km on a heavily used highway over a span of nine days. 

More than 50 vehicles were used for the move including lowboy trailers, dry vans, and platforms. Each unit was customised by Tradelossa’s engineering team in order to manoeuvre them safely and easily into cramped areas in both plants. 

“Each part we hauled had unique characteristics that differentiated it from the others, therefore, each trip we made was unique with unique obstacles,” said Tradelossa
