South Africa’s Vanguard is currently offloading and transporting 48 wind turbines at Port Elizabeth, which are destined for a project site in Golden Valley.
Each turbine consists of three 60 m-long blades, with a combined weight of nearly 450 tonnes.
According to Vanguard, it takes the company just two days to deliver the components to the project site, located 230 km away.
