New heavy cargo exhibition announced

May 7 - US trade magazine, the American Journal of Transportation is partnering with the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) and Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) group to launch a new heavy cargo and equipment exhibition in Macao scheduled for March 16-17, 2

The organisers expect the typical exhibitors will be project cargo forwarders, heavy lift ship owners, cargo aircraft operators, heavy haulage companies, crane operators, barge companies, stevedores, export packers, ports and airports handling heavy cargo, manufacturers of heavy haulage equipment and crane manufacturers amongst others.

"With direct access to the Chinese market in the immediate vicinity we believe this exhibition will be a huge success, and we would like to thank the management of WWPC and CEE for their participation and support of this project," said George Lauriat, editor in chief for AJOT.

Stuart Murdoch, administrative director for both the WWPC and CEE said: "For this type of exhibition Macao is a wonderful starting point, situated at the doorstep of the world¹s largest and fastest growing market."

The event has drawn supportive comments from Kai-Stefan Vogel, sales manager Beluga Shipping Group who said: "Great opportunity! Especially since Beluga's core business is the worldwide transportation of heavy lift and project cargoes."
