February 15 - Pakistan's Aaras Shipping Agencies has transported two steam generators and auxiliary equipment from Port Mohammad bin Qasim, Karachi, to an inland power plant.

According to Masood Ahmed, business development manager at Aaras Shipping, the 582 tonne consignment was loaded on to Rosairo in Japan and shipped to Karachi. A total of 90 packages were unloaded from the vessel.
 
"The whole discharge took 18 hours and was then transported onto multi-axle trailers with the lighter-weight pieces being placed onto standard trailers for the 595 km inland journey to the project site," Ahmed added.
