AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) – part of Volga-Dnepr Group – has transported 425,000 doses of vaccines from Chicago, USA, to Beijing in China.
The Boeing 747-400 was loaded with 36 tons (32.7 tonnes) of cargo in partnership with Kuehne+Nagel.
The oral vaccines were contained in SONOCO Thermosafe EF4100 pallet shippers and transported within a +5C temperature environment. Upon arrival in Beijing, the whole batch of vaccines was safely offloaded and trucked to the final destination.
