September 5 - IDEA Logistique recently coordinated the delivery of 150-tonnes of equipment and partly assembled machines to Saint-Nazaire in France on behalf of Alstom.
The heaviest components were moved using IDEA Logistique's Nicolas SPMTs.
The machinery will be used in Alstom's new wind turbine manufacturing facility, which will build the generators and nacelles for the Haliade 150-6MW range of turbines. The facility is scheduled to come online in early 2015.
