The BladeMAX1000 has maximum lifting capacity of 1,000 tonnes and has two movement axes – rotor blades can be raised up to 60 degrees and can also be rotated by 360 degrees. The blade lifter is also fitted with stability control system (SCS) for enhanced safety.

Peter Adams, founder of P. Adams Heavy Transport, said: “After visiting Cometto’s production facility in Italy and engaging in intensive technical discussions with [Cometto] technical director Fabrizio Lippi, I personally attended a transport operation in Austria involving the world’s largest onshore rotor blade and was able to see with my own eyes how much additional stability is generated at high lifting angles.”

P. Adams Heavy Transport was founded in 1988 and has locations in Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and Sweden.

HLPFI reported in April that the BladeMAX1000 had made its debut, in Germany.
