Amarcon completes Dockwise order

February 15 - Amarcon has completed the installation of OCTOPUS-Onboard on all 15 ships in the Dockwise fleet.

Dockwise Teal (pictured below) was the final ship to be fitted with the software which monitors ship motion and decision support during heavy Lift transport operations

The OCTOPUS-Onboard extension TMS with the three sensor setup (TMS-3) is used in the heavy lift offshore and dredging markets.

Amarcon says that TMS-3 provides virtual real-time measurement of motions, velocities and accelerations in any thinkable location on the vessel, such as the cargo's centre of gravity or a high point in a leg of a jackup rig for example. In addition to this, additional sensors can be placed on the cargo to measure the cargo motions.
