'Bahrain gateway' looking forward to April opening

February 06 - The newly-developed Khalifa bin Salman port (KBSP) in Bahrain, dubbed the Bahrain gateway, which was scheduled to come into operation in January, will now commence operations in April.

The shifting of quayside handling equipment from the port of Mina Salman, including that for project cargo and break bulk cargoes, will start on April 1 and is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
