The port of Bilbao in Spain has extended land to accommodate strategic industrial projects.
203,000 sq m of land is now available to companies, which can be divided into plots according to their needs, said the port. In total, the area has a 1,120 m-long berthing line.
It has been created as part of the first phase of construction of the central quay. At the beginning of 2023, a further 50,000 sq m will be added. This will become available once the AZ1 quay has been extended.
The second phase of construction of the central quay is scheduled for completion in 2024.
