March 28 - UK headquartered Briggs Equipment has supplied a range of material handling equipment to JDR Cables Systems - a provider of high performance subsea cables and umbilical systems.
Briggs delivered a fleet of 12 machines including four Yale VX25 diesel counterbalance trucks and handling equipment ranging from five to 40 tonnes.
The new fleet was supplied to JDR's site in Hartlepool and to its headquarters in Littleport, Cambridgeshire. The machinery will be used to help deliver products to its offshore, oil and gas and renewables customers.
Briggs has supplied the equipment on a long-term flexible hours contract that can be reviewed at six-month intervals.
