November 29 - Chapman Freeborn Airchartering - the UK-based provider of aircraft charter brokerage services - has established a new commercial presence in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Business development director, Nicolas Caleri, will head the new branch. He has been tasked with overseeing cargo charter operations and the development of Chapman Freeborn's on-board courier services.
The new Argentinean team is already managing its first cargo chartering operations. One charter saw 75 tonnes of sensitive printing equipment flown from Germany to Buenos Aires on a B747 freighter. The same aircraft was later used to safely transport 100 polo ponies from the Argentinean capital to Nigeria.
