Each vessel will feature three 200-tonne cranes apiece – with a capacity of up to 400 tonnes in tandem. Each has a large, unobstructed deck area with tween dacks. The bridge will be at the fore of the vessel, allowing for enhanced efficiency in handling cargo.

The ice-class certified newbuildings will be equipped with a shaft generator and fuel-efficient main engines for lower fuel consumption and fewer emmisions.

Last month, HLPFI reported that Chipolbrok had appointed Scandinavian Near East Agency (SNEAL) to represent the carrier in Greece.
