UK-headquartered freighter airline CargoLogicAir (CLA) said it would add two Boeing 747-400F production freighters to its fleet, with deliveries planned for the first and second quarters of 2022.

The company is planning to deploy these freighters in key markets for UK and European exporters and importers, with China and the USA being primary targets.

Concurrently, CLA provided its financial year 2020 figures. The carrier reported revenues of USD148.9 million and a net profit of USD45.4 million. In 2020, Cargo utilisation increase on average by 30 percent per aircraft; it said that on-time performance and cargo handling KPIs all improved in that time.

Strong performance through 2021 so far encouraged the carrier to boost its B747 fleet to four aircraft.
