October 14 - Spain's Coordinadora Internacional de Cargas has managed the transport of five gas columns, each weighing 120 tonnes, plus associated accessories amounting to around 5.000 cu m from Tarragona and Leixoes to a gas fractionation plant on the ou

The newly refurbished terminal of General San Martin was the port of entry for these cargoes due to its strategic location 25 km from the refinery.

Months before the shipping operation started, Coordinadora Internacional conducted a complete survey of the operations area in Peru and held preparatory meetings which, together with the company's good knowledge of the country, helped to make the operation really successful.

Coordinadora says that it hired the most experienced partners to perform local operations in Peru such as terminal handling, import customs clearance and inland transport, as well as one of the top carriers for the ocean freight and says that this helped contribute to the cargo being delivered on week ahead of schedule.
