COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers has taken delivery of its ice-class multipurpose pulp ship Green Kemi in Dalian, China.
The vessel meets the requirements of the CCS B1 ice symbol and Class C polar certificate, has polar navigation capabilities, and can sail in open water and ice less than 80 cm thick, said the carrier.
Equipped with four cranes it is designed to meet the loading requirements for pulp customers but is also capable of loading large, long, and overweight equipment.
