Crane Worldwide picks Antonov

Antonov Airlines delivered a mobile crane and fire extinguishing equipment from the USA to Argentina aboard one of its AN-124-100 aircraft.

The cargoes were shipped from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Texas to Presidente Perón International Airport, Argentina, on behalf of Crane Worldwide Logistics.

The heavy lift consignment weighed 70 tonnes and included the crane, as well as booms, tracks, control stations and water pumps.

Dillon Lato, inside sales supervisor – Houston for Crane Worldwide, explained: "Antonov Airlines yet again proves to be an invaluable partner when we are tasked to handle mission critical cargo for our clients … we had an AN-124 agreement signed, aircraft on the ground, loaded, and ready for wheels up to the destination in 48 hours.”
