December 30 - In Emden, Germany, a recently strengthened storage area used by EMS Port Agency and Stevedoring (EPAS) has received its first cargo.

Some 2,336 tonnes of materials, which included the mast, mud pumps, rotary table, tanks, cables, generators and pipes from a drilling rig, plus more than 40 accommodation and office containers was unloaded from EMS Chartering's Vectis Castle

The consignments were returned from Albania by various companies within the EMS-Fehn Group.

Following unloading and the temporary storage of the various components, EPAS used its newly acquired Sany reach stacker to load the consignments onto over 150 trucks for transport back to the client's premises.

HLPFI reported on this shipment earlier in December.
