Emirates SkyCargo has introduced additional cargo flights to Argentina, Brazil, and Chile to respond to global demand.

As of May 3, Emirates began operating weekly flights using Boeing 777-300ER passenger aircraft to Sao Paulo (Brazil). The aircraft has around 40 tonnes of cargo capacity on the lower deck. The carrier will also operate multiple charter flights to the city to transport medical supplies during May.

On May 5, a charter flight carrying medical equipment, including face masks, arrived in Buenos Aires (Argentina). On the return journey, around 50 tonnes of Argentinian exports were transported to the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.

Emirates SkyCargo also transported flowers and perishables to Europe from Quito in Ecuador. Additionally, special cargo flights that delivered 80 tonnes of medical supplies from Hong Kong to Santiago (Chile) were loaded with perishables and agricultural products for the return journey.
