EMS opens in Helsinki

March 31 - Bremen based logistics company and part of the EMS-Fehn-Group, EMS Log GmbH has opened a branch office in Helsinki, which will be headed up be Markku Koponen.

Koponen will be responsible for the Scandinavian and Baltic market. "With his background as manager of several renowned logistics companies and his extensive experience in the heavy lift business, [Koponen] will complement our existing range of services in special transports," said managing director of EMS Log, Dominic Sleur.

"With the opening of a branch office in Helsinki, we react to the rising demand of our customers," said Manfred Müller, managing director of EMS Log and head of EMS-Fehn-Group.
