The 99 m-long ship has Ice-class 1A (Finnish Swedish) certification. The vessel has been designed to exacting standards and will consume less fuel, release fewer exhaust emissions and reduce noise levels in comparison to older ships.

“We have always had a high focus on resource efficiency translating into modern environmental care. It is essential that we build vessels fit for the future and our long experience in the business paired with our vision to be a sustainable Swedish partner over generations, gives us a good basis for continual improvement and innovative design,” said Henrik Källsson, deputy managing director, Erik Thun.
