Finneco III, the third and last of Finnline’s hybrid ro-ro vessels in the Eco-class newbuilding programme, has been delivered at the China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu) in China.
The first in the series, Finneco I, was delivered during April and the second, Finneco II, in late May. The ships are 238 m long, each with a cargo capacity of 5,800 lane metres. All three vessels will enter Finnlines’ Biscay line.
The three hybrid ro-ro vessels form part of the company’s EUR500 million (USD539 million) newbuilding programme, which also includes two hybrid ro-pax vessels. The ro-pax vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2023.
