November 20 - Gebr

Gebrüder Weiss management board members welcomed numerous guests of honour to the occasion, including deputy state governor of Vorarlberg, Karlheinz Rüdisser.

"Expanding our capacity is a crucial step towards a sustainable future of our global headquarters in Vorarlberg and at the same time it shows our commitment to the regional economy," said Gebrüder Weiss board member Wolfram Senger-Weiss.

The new building, which is expected to be ready in mid 2014, will house all corporate divisions, creating about 100 new jobs in the long term.

In the northern area of the site, a state-of-the-art logistics warehouse will be built with over 5,000 sq m of logistics space and 13,000 pallet positions. In addition, the existing transhipment warehouse will be completely renovated with an extra 1,000 sq m of space and 13 docking.
