Gottwald strengthens sales and service organisation in Oceania

June 1 - Gottwald Port Technology (Gottwald) has appointed Clark Equipment Australia Pty Ltd. (Clark Equipment), based in Sydney, Australia, as its new sales and service representative for Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.

The appointment coincides with the retirement of Graham Raneberg, who has been Gottwald's representative in a region in which Gottwald has already sold a significant number of mobile harbour cranes.

With immediate effect, Clark Equipment is the first port of call for Gottwald's customer base in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Clark Equipment's areas of responsibility include: new crane sales, service contracts, spare parts supply and coordinating customers' engineering requirements. The company is also equipped to promote and implement the full range of service products that Gottwald offers.

Clark Equipment has been in the material handling equipment business for many years, enabling Gottwald to strengthen its position and demonstrate its proximity to customers in the Australian-Pacific region.

Alan Foulkes, general manager of Clark Equipment, said: "Thanks to our experience, especially in the field of servicing heavy machines, we are well positioned to support Gottwald and to guarantee maximum availability of the Gottwald machines."
