July 21 - Brazil's One Way International Logistics and USA based Acco Terramar have cooperated in the shipment of an 85-tonne generator from GE Energy's plant in Campinas, Brazil to a sugar mill in Panuco, Mexico.

The generator, which measured 7.11 m x 4.2 m x 3.73 m, was first transported from the plant to Paranagua port. Although the GE plant is closer to the Brazilian port of Santos, the two companies explained that they chose to load in Paranagua due to savings in permits and port costs.

At the port, the cargo was loaded onto a Wallenius Wilhelmsen ro-ro vessel, before being shipped to Mexico's Altamira port and transported by road to its final destination.

Both One Way International Logistics and Acco Terramar are members of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN).
