Global Wind Service (GWS) has opened a branch in Taipei, Taiwan, to support increasing demand for its services from the offshore wind sector.

GWS has been active in the Asia-Pacific region since 2010 and in Taiwan since 2019. The turbine service provider said having a separate branch in Taiwan is part of its growth strategy and an important step to support its partners in the growing Taiwanese offshore market.

Hans Hansen is the regional manager. He will oversee the branch and support its ambition to develop and grow locally to secure further projects and build a local workforce.
