Norwegian offshore services provider Boa confirmed the launch of its latest semi-submersible unit, Boabarge 39.
Having signed a construction contract with China’s Dalian Shipbuilding Offshore earlier this year, the barge has now been launched from drydock. The 57,500 dwt barge can submerge to a depth of 22.5 m.
Adding to Boa’s capacities in supporting future projects requiring launching and transporting of heavy and voluminous cargoes, final installation and assembly work will continue with slated delivery set for late summer 2026.
