Heavy propulsion units handled through Helsinki

March 19 - Earlier this month, Vuossari Harbour in the Port of Helsinki handled two heavy ABB Azipod marine propulsion units.

The Azipod system was handled through the Finnish gateway due to its suitable piers and field areas, says Port of Helsinki. Special cranes capable of handling the heavy units were mobilised from the greater Helsinki area to the port.
