North American marine service specialist Logistec is diversifying its cargo handling services in the port of Baltimore, USA. The BalTerm terminal will be rebranded under the Logistec name as the group expands the range of services on offer.
The rebrand aligns with Logistec’s strategy to market its operations under one brand to serve North American and international industries. The company has operated as BalTerm in Baltimore since 1990.
Sean Pierce, ceo of Logistec, said that as the global supply chain evolves, the company is expanding the range of services in Baltimore to handle new cargos and offer turnkey logistics. “We are also implementing new technology to increase terminal fluidity and efficiency. This positions our Baltimore terminal as a key gateway, connecting our customers directly with Logistec’s network of 85 terminals and creating opportunities for innovation and growth,” he added.
