Magma Aviation has added a Boeing 747 freighter to its roster.

With its ability to carry approximately 100 tonnes of cargo, the aircraft gives Magma Aviation an added advantage to handle a wide variety of sensitive and specialised cargo types.

“In the past, we have successfully transported outsized and specialised cargo loads – anything from mining equipment to full-size helicopters, boats, and more. With a new B747F aircraft in our fleet, this gives our team a great advantage to diversify the products we offer,” said Peter Kerins, ceo of Magma Aviation.

Magma Aviation aims to build its fleet dramatically over the next couple of years, noting that this new aircraft is part of its long-term growth plan. Kerins added that the new B747F would give it the ability not only to service current clients but also allow it to fly new routes and expand services.
