Mammoet mobilised for Maas job

August 15 - According to reports in the international press, four tanks measuring 24 m in diameter and 26 m tall have been transported over the river Maas in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The tanks were moved from their manufacturing site at Grovo Tankbouw, Rotterdam, across the river to their final location at Europoort Koole Tank Storage in Pernis.
 
Netherlands headquartered heavy transport specialist Mammoet completed the project. The floating crane Matador 3 executed the four heavy lifts.
