December 10 - Dan March has been appointed ceo of the WCA network of independent logistics companies.

Having held the position of communications director at the company for the past five years, March now succeeds WCA founder David Yokeum, who has taken on the role of chairman.

Based in London, March will oversee the day-to-day operations and work closely with Yokeum and the network's new non-executive supervisory board. Yokeum will remain actively involved in overseeing the direction and strategy of the company

Meanwhile, former Emirates SkyCargo chief Ram Menen has joined WCA's new global supervisory board. Menen joins Eric Fady, Philip Bilney, and Jim Barnhart.

"This is an exciting time for WCA, as we continue to grow our global footprint and offer members new services and opportunities to connect with each other and develop their businesses," said March.

WCA also comprises the WCA Projects network, which brings together companies involved in the worldwide transport of heavy and oversize project cargo.
