March 20 - French crane provider, Mediaco, has ordered 25 Demag all terrain cranes to add to its fleet of more than 600 machines.
The order includes 20 AC 55-3, two AC 100-4, two AC 160-5 and one AC 130-5.

The Damag AC 55-3 has recently been added to the Demag line and features an automated counterweight rigging system, a one-engine concept that minimises operational and maintenance costs and the IC-1 Plus control system that calculates lifting capacities for every position of the crane's boom subject to the slewing angle of the superstructure. According to Terex, these innovations help make the 3-axle crane a one-person operation.

The 25 Demag all terrain cranes are expected to join Mediaco's fleet between July 2017 and February 2018.

Meanwhile, Croatia-based Zagrebtrans has ordered an AC 500-8 all terrain crane and a CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler crane. According to Terex, Zagrebtrans, which transports and handles heavy and oversized cargo, will use the crawler crane in April where it will be utilised to perform a 400-tonne lift in Pula, Croatia.
