February 7 - MSG Krandienst, a heavy transport and project logistics provider, has expanded its fleet with seven Grove all-terrain cranes.

The first six of these cranes - four GMK3060s and two GMK4080-1s - have been delivered from Manitowoc's Wilhelmshaven plant to Kehl, Germany where MSG Krandienst is based. The seventh crane, a Grove GMK5150L, will be delivered in April 2017.

The GMK5150L has a load capacity of 150 tonnes, a 60 m boom and a total width of 2.75 m which Manitowoc claims allows for easy manoeuvring on job sites.

The crane carries 44.5-tonnes of counterweight and in its taxi configuration, the crane carries 10.2-tonnes of counterweight.

Alfred Jatz, managing direct at MSG Krandienst, said: "The [GMK5150L] crane complements our broad range of services and helps us to provide our customers with tailor-made solutions that fit their needs."
