June 11 - Nurminen Logistics has said that today's dockers strike in Finnish ports is having a detrimental effect on operations at the Kotka, Hamina and Vuosaari terminals.
Deliveries of full containers to the ports will be delayed during the strike, as well as deliveries of empty containers for unloading. Imports also cannot be moved to the terminals for unloading.
Nurminen believes that it will take a few days to stabilise the situation after the strike, which is expected to end on June 12.
