Ocean 7 chooses Kestrel

May 7 - Ocean 7 has appointed Kestrel Maritime Asia as its agent in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, effective May 1, 2015.

Ocean 7 is a Denmark headquartered shipping line operating a fleet of 10 multipurpose/heavy lift vessels. It expects to take delivery of the newbuild vessel Abis Esbjerg, which will come equipped with two 150-tonne lift capacity cranes, at the end of July 2015.
 
An Ocean 7 statement claimed Kestrel secured this contract owing to its long-standing involvement in the heavy lift and project shipping industry.
