June 25 - Specialized Shipping and Logistics has become the Project Cargo Network's (PCN) third and final member in Iraq.

Specialized Shipping and Logistics employs 25 people at its branches in Baghdad, Basra, Umm Qasr and Erbil. It focuses on oil and gas, and energy project logistics.

Wilhelmsen Ships Service Georgia LT (Wilhelmsen Georgia) has also become the third member to join PCN representing the country. Wilhelmsen Georgia delivers a wide range of project cargo and breakbulk services across all Georgian ports from its Tbilisi head office.

Port operations coordinator, Bukhuti Abashidze, Wilhelmsen Georgia, stated: "We handle heavy/out-of-gauge cargo in breakbulk as well as containerised shipments on a monthly basis.  With years of experience in handling project cargo, we have been looking for a proper network to back up our knowledge and experience and receive relevant support from dedicated PCN professionals."

Recently, Wilhelmsen Georgia provided stevedoring and forwarding services for seven wagons being shipped from Georgia to Kazakhstan (pictured below).
